All my life one thing that has set me apart is a sense of outrage. Not whiny outrage, and not pathological outrage, but a keen awareness of the wrongness and destructive capacity of conventional wisdom. It has taken me half a lifetime to realize that this very quality is a key reason for my interest in inventing businesses and organizations, for thinking outside the box, and for refusing prejudice toward an idea simply because it’s unconventional.
